How did Luke Littler get into darts?
Littler, from Warrington in Cheshire, started throwing at about 18 months old on a magnetic dartboard his father bought from a discount shop. He joined the St Helens Darts Academy at 10, and Target has sponsored him since he was 12.
He reached the PDC World Championship final on debut in January 2024, aged 16. Later that month he hit his first televised nine-darter, at the Bahrain Darts Masters against Nathan Aspinall, and won the event for his first PDC title.
What has Luke Littler won?
In January 2025 he beat Michael van Gerwen 7-3 in the World Championship final to become the youngest world champion, at 17. He retained the title in January 2026 with a 7-1 win over Gian van Veen, the first back-to-back champion since Gary Anderson in 2016.
His 2026 season added the World Masters, UK Open, Premier League and World Matchplay, plus the World Cup of Darts with Luke Humphries for England. At the July 2026 World Matchplay he beat Gerwyn Price 18-9 and set a tournament average record of 111.04.
What is Luke Littler's current world ranking?
Littler is world number one on the PDC Order of Merit as of October 2026, a position he has held since November 2025. He leads the two-year prize money list by more than £2 million as of October 2026.

Littler plays the Target Luke Littler Gen 1 (G1) at 23g. It is a 90% tungsten straight barrel, 52mm long and 6.5mm wide, with a black coating. The grip combines Target's pixel grip at the front and centre with finer radial grooves at the rear.
