Beat Luke Littler on Netflix: Fallon Sherrock Takes the £501,000

Fallon Sherrock beat Luke Littler in a single leg of 501 to win £501,000 on Netflix's first live darts show, Beat Luke Littler, broadcast from Manchester Central on Friday 30 October 2026 (Saturday morning Australian time). Littler had seen off 14 challengers before Sherrock ended the night with a 15-dart leg.

What the show was

Beat Luke Littler was a one-off live event produced by Workerbee in partnership with Netflix and the PDC, hosted by Gary Lineker. The idea was simple: amateur players lined up to face the world number one over one leg of 501, and the first to beat him won £501,000. Littler kept playing until somebody beat him.

The prize is the second-largest single payout in darts, behind only the £1 million for the PDC World Championship winner. It is also more than Littler collected for his first world title at Alexandra Palace.

How the format worked

  • Each challenger got one leg of 501 against Littler, with a bull-up to decide who threw first.
  • Win the leg and the £501,000 was yours; lose and you were done.
  • Twenty challengers were lined up from an original cast of 24 after open auditions in Manchester and London. Entrants had to check out from 501 in 24 darts or fewer, then interview with producers.
  • Players could not hold a PDC Tour Card, which is why Sherrock, a former Alexandra Palace third-round qualifier, was eligible.
  • Sherrock earned her spot on stage through a public vote against Germany's Jarod Becker.

How the night unfolded

Littler beat 14 challengers before Sherrock stepped up. Early opponents included a Nando's restaurant manager, Lauren Bloomfield, and 14-year-old Welsh player Makinley Cooper-Johnson. The closest call before Sherrock came from Ireland's Pearse Mackle, who missed the bullseye with a dart for the £501,000.

Sherrock won the bull and threw first. She hit a 180 on the way to leaving 43 after 12 darts, while Littler sat on 142 after his fourth visit. With the last dart of her fifth visit she hit double 12 for a 15-dart leg and the prize. Littler, who had been on stage for more than two hours, called her performance world-class.

She was presented with a trophy reading "I beat Luke Littler" and celebrated with her son Rory, who was watching her play on stage for the first time. Her previous biggest payday was £25,000 for reaching the third round at Alexandra Palace in 2020.

Several challengers never got to throw, including 15-year-old Scottish player Mitchell Lawrie, runner-up at the 2025 WDF World Championship and widely tipped as the most likely to beat Littler on the night.

How to watch in Australia

The show went out live at 7pm UK time, which was 3am Saturday in Perth and 6am on the east coast. It streamed only on Netflix and is available on demand to Netflix subscribers in Australia, so you can catch the full broadcast at a sensible hour.
