About Icon
About Icon
Icon is a sister business of Darts Online, under the same ownership. Every Icon barrel is machined from 90% tungsten, and the names and finishes nod to things Australia is known for: the Prospector's gold-hued finish, for example, is a nod to the goldfields.
What is Icon known for?
The range is built around one material and one balance. All seven barrels are 90% tungsten and centre weighted, and each comes in two weights, between 22g and 26g. What changes from model to model is the barrel shape, the grip and the finish, so you can pick on feel without changing the basic set-up.
Which Icon range suits you?
Straight barrels. Boomer (grip level 2), Lotus (2.5), Opal (3) and Venom (3.5) are straight barrels, listed here from lightest to heaviest grip. A straight barrel gives the same grip position along its length.
Torpedo. Prospector (grip level 2.5) is a torpedo barrel with a semi-rugged grip, in 23g and 25g.
Tapered. Onyx (grip level 2.5) is a slim tapered barrel in a black finish: 6.2mm wide at 22g on a 49.8mm length.
Scalloped. Origin (grip level 2.5) has a scalloped barrel, in 23g and 25g.
Grip levels are the rating shown on each product page; a higher number means more grip.
