How do the time zones work?
Most PDC events are in the UK or Europe. UK evening sessions start at 7pm and European Tour sessions at 1pm and 7pm local time. Perth stays on AWST (UTC+8) all year. Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Hobart switch between AEDT (UTC+11) and AEST (UTC+10); Brisbane stays on AEST. The UK and Europe change their clocks on different dates from us, so the gap moves four times a year.
| Period | UK 7pm in Perth | UK 7pm in Sydney |
|---|---|---|
| Until 27 Mar 2027 | 3am next day | 6am next day |
| 28 Mar – 3 Apr 2027 | 2am next day | 5am next day |
| 4 Apr – 2 Oct 2027 | 2am next day | 4am next day |
| 3 Oct – 30 Oct 2027 | 2am next day | 5am next day |
| From 31 Oct 2027 | 3am next day | 6am next day |
European venues are one hour ahead of the UK, so a 7pm session in Germany starts an hour earlier in Australia than a 7pm session in England.

Frequently asked questions
Where can I watch darts in Australia?
Fox Sports and Kayo showed the 2026 Australian Darts Masters and the ANZ Premier League live. Broadcast rights are set event by event, so check the Fox Sports and Kayo guides in the week before an event.
What time does the World Championship start in Australia?
Afternoon sessions at Alexandra Palace start around 12:30pm UK time, which is 8:30pm in Perth and 11:30pm in Sydney. Evening sessions start at 7pm, which is 3am in Perth and 6am in Sydney the next morning.
Why do start times change in October and April?
The UK and Europe change their clocks on the last Sundays of March and October, and New South Wales on the first Sundays of April and October. Perth has no daylight saving, so only the UK and European changes move Perth times.
When is the 2027 Australian Darts Masters?
Not announced yet. The PDC usually confirms the World Series in October or November; the Australian event has been in August, at the WIN Entertainment Centre in Wollongong from 2024 to 2026.
How do Australian players qualify for the World Championship?
For the 2026/27 event, through the ANZ Premier League, the top of the Australian and New Zealand orders of merit, and the Trans-Tasman Championship.
How often is this calendar updated?
Every month, and whenever the PDC or Darts Australia announces new dates or a schedule of play.
